Death Row Roaches
I currently breed 5 species of Roaches.
Blaberus Craniifer, Blaberus Giganteus, Blaberus Discoidalis, Blaptica Dubia & Gromphadorhina Portentosa.
My favorite Roach species is the DEATHS HEAD Roach!
Blaberus Craniifer, Death Head Roach
Such a Beautiful Roach with it’s Jet Black wings and Vampire like face on its Pronotum.
Native to Mexico and Central America.
I find Deaths Head Roaches to be prolific.
Captive care of Roaches.
I keep my colonies in a dark room with temperatures in the upper 80°F.
I spray them a few times a week to keep humidity up and for their watering needs.
I feed all of my Roach colonies, cut fruits and vegetables.
I also throw in any uneaten protein items my Monitors leave behind.
I setup my Colonies in large plastic bins.

Blaberus Giganteus, Giant Cave Roach
A Large species of an impressive size up to 4″!
One of the Largest Roach Species in the World!
Native to Panama, West Indies and Central America.
I find this species to be slow growers.
It has taken some time to grow out my colony.
Captive care of Roaches.

Blaberus Discodalis, Discoid Roach
One of the most widely keep Species of Roach.
Discoid Roaches reach 2″ in size and I find them very prolific!
Native to Jamaica, Cuba, other Caribbean Islands and Central America.

This very well could be the most popular Roach species being bred today.
Native to Central America and South America.
A Highly prolific species!

Gromphadorhina Portentosa, Madagascar Hissing Roach
Another popular Roach species being bred today.
Native to the Island of Madagascar.

The Madagascar Hissing Roach are notorious climbers, so a layer of Vaseline around the lip of the bin is a MUST!
